Permanent, Full Time
Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 Annually

Heliene is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Associate to play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire sales lifecycle, while supporting our outside sales team with prospecting and reporting. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this pivotal role extends beyond transactional processing, encompassing proactive support for Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), efficient order management from post-PO execution to issue resolution, proactive customer communication, and contributing to sales reporting for performance insights and process improvements. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating cross-departmentally and possess a commitment to continuous learning about our products, the industry, and innovative tools to enhance their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized records of all sales transactions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Proactively communicate order updates and any potential issues to the RSMs and clients.
- Accurately input all order details into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including product codes, quantities, pricing, shipping addresses, and any special instructions, based on information provided by the Regional Sales Managers or directly from clients.
- Ensure all associated documents, such as purchase orders received from clients, are properly linked to the corresponding order record within the CRM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent and effective communication.
- Liaise with Logistics, Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Engineering departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and address any client needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the inside sales function.
- Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Develop ad-hoc reports as needed to address specific business questions or support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct targeted cold calls to potential new customers to introduce Heliene and its products, with the goal of generating qualified leads for the Regional Sales Managers.
- Actively engage in social selling activities on platforms like LinkedIn to identify and connect with potential prospects, building initial relationships and identifying potential opportunities.
- Conduct regular, proactive check-in calls and emails with existing accounts (where appropriate and in coordination with the RSMs) to maintain relationships, identify new opportunities, and gather market intelligence.

Required Skills:
A Diploma in a related field, three years' experience in sales support, customer service or administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or renewable energy industry considered an asset.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be an asset.
- Substantial customer service and data entry experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is required with the ability and/or willingness to learn Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Experience delivering presentations to clients and internal team members.
- Proficient with email marketing platforms, data visualization tools, or other relevant software.
- Must have valid drivers' license and reliable transportation.
