The Sault Community Health Centre (SCHC) is a dynamic, forward-thinking clinic providing primary health care services in an inter-disciplinary, collaborative model of care. SCHC works in partnership with other health organizations and social services to ensure that patient needs are met.
Compensation
-Annual salary of $70, 000-$94, 178 to commensurate with education and experience.
-Comprehensive health benefits plan
-Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOP)
-Vacation to be determined or negotiable.
-Professional development opportunities
Hours of work:
Schedule includes days, evenings and possibly weekends.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for providing overall management leadership to the service delivery, human resources, financial and information components of the Sault Community Health Centre.??The Executive Director is a resource to the SCHC Board of Directors, providing regular updates on the overall functioning of the clinic and initiatives in the community.
Duties, responsibilities, and skills include, but are not limited to:
-Overall human resources and operational management.
-Resource to the SCHC Board of Directors.
-Management priorities and outcomes.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
-Certification in Human Resources or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution an asset
-Minimum 3 years' experience in health care management.
-Experience in a community primary healthcare setting, in mental health and addictions an asset.
-Experience in working with a non-profit organization and Board of Directors.
-Knowledge of relevant legislation.
-Knowledge and skill to provide professional expertise and?guidance to staff.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Effective and well-developed interpersonal skills.
-Requisite computer literacy level to manage the organization.
-Experience in program planning, development, and evaluation.
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines.
-Current Police Check for Vulnerable Persons
-Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Effective time management skills
-Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment.
-Ability to an adapt to an evolving healthcare environment.
-Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
-Values that align with those of the SCHC: to provide respectful and patient-centered care
