LOCATION: Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre, 100 Ontario Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, ON
SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately. Ending August 31, 2025.
ANNUALIZED SALARY: $58,938 to $66,297
Under the direction of the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Clerk will:
- Support HSCDSB's internal and external recruitment, by coordinating interviews, completing reference checks and on-boarding employees
- Organize orientation sessions for all new employees
- Input all employee data in the HRIS (HR Information System)
- Support the administrative needs of the Human Resources Department
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or related field
- Knowledge of key Human Resources functions is considered an asset
- Confident communication and superior interpersonal skills (both virtually and in person, verbal and written)
- A positive and approachable attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to problem solve
- Ability to respect and maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive matters and/or information
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as a part of a team
- Sound knowledge and comfort working in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Superior planning and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time-sensitive conditions/timelines
