CLASSIFICATION: NURSE PRACTITIONER
STATUS: REGULAR FULL TIME
DEPARTMENT: NURSING - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, THESSALON SITE
RATE OF PAY: $69.85 - $78.88 PER HOUR

Required Skills:
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Current Registration in the extended class in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support
- Current CPR
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous education
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills in both written and verbal
- Experience working effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing clinical situations and multiple demands
