Job Description:
POSTING NO: ONA - 22-22 - REPOSTED
CLASSIFICATION: NURSE PRACTITIONER
STATUS: REGULAR FULL TIME
DEPARTMENT: NURSING - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, BLIND RIVER SITE
RATE OF PAY: $69.85 - $78.88 PER HOUR

Required Skills:
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Current Registration in the extended class in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support
- Current CPR

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous education
- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills in both written and verbal
- Ability to identify, develop and lead the successful implementation of best practice skills in the provision of clinical care
Requirements:
ASSETS:
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of diverse clinical and nursing leadership experience
- \"Certificate in Hospital & Acute Care for Nurse Practitioners\" from the University of Toronto, or equivalent
- Bilingual
