Pay Rate / Hour: 22-26/h

Expected start date: September 16
Job location: 145 McNabb Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
Schedule: Classes are held on Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:15 with addition time alloted for preparation.
Course duration: 8 week contract with possibility to teach more courses.

Founded in 1991, the Centre d'éducation et de formation pour adultes (CÉFA) is a non-profit organization offering adult education and training services in Sault Ste. Marie. Since our earliest days, we've provided training to the francophone community to help them achieve their personal, professional and academic goals. Today, we continue to provide training for francophones and francophiles in language development, college preparation and various workshops

Special requirements:
-Very good knowledge of the French language (spoken and written); comfortable working with an adult and multicultural clientele.
-Ability to teach at different levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced);
-Flexibility, open-mindedness and initiative.

More specifically :
The French as a second language instructor will perform the following tasks:
-Prepare courses according to the training plan;
-Adjust teaching materials to suit the teaching context;
-Teach courses using a variety of methods;
-Evaluate learners;
-Perform all other related tasks

Experience: Experience an asset
Languages spoken: French and English
