Job Overview - Description & Duties
We have seasonal positions available at this multi-award-winning campground. Applicants MUST have exceptional customer service skills, excellent command of the English language, a positive attitude, be well-groomed, outgoing, detail oriented, mature, a team player, and have reliable transportation to the north end of town. It is imperative that the applicant be comfortable conversing with our guests in a mature, professional manner. The ability to converse with our guests in French is an asset.

This is an inside position and will include front desk duties, reservations, check-in, escorting guests to their site, firewood delivery, concierge services, store operations, cabin laundry duties, and light cleaning. This requires someone who can think on their feet, and must be able to lift 30 lbs. Applicants will take pride in knowing that our campground guests will have a more enjoyable vacation because of the efforts made in these positions.

Hours and days vary and may change throughout the season, and will be approximately 30 hours per week. Flexibility is a MUST.
Position to start the beginning of May and will continue to Labour Day, with the possibility of working until the first weekend in October.
Due to the short nature of the season, no additional time off will be available for vacations, other than regularly scheduled days off.
To Qualify for the Canada Summer Job program applicants must be 15-30 years of age and Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident.

Again, customer service skills MUST be impeccable.

Required Skills:
- Able to produce a current Vulnerable Sector Police Records check prior to start date.
- Must be polite, courteous and well-spoken.
- Able to work well under pressure during the busy time of the season, while maintaining a clear thought process and decision-making.
- Able to work cooperatively as part of a team, yet works well independently.
- Must have reliable transportation to the north end of town.
- Driver's license.
- An interest in outdoor hospitality.
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
- Previous experience with cash and credit card transactions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to take initiative.
- Must strive for excellence in guest services at all times.
- We are looking for highly ethical individuals, we expect that once you have accepted the position if it is offered, you will remain with us for the duration of the season and not job-hop.
