Seasonal/Part-Time Equipment Operator
Salary Range (Hourly): $25.58 - $30.67
The Township is currently seeking a Seasonal/Part-Time Equipment Operator/Labourer in the Public Works Department. This position will work up to 40 hours per week annually from May to October, as well as casually throughout the remainder of the year.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with the safe and efficient construction, operation and maintenance of municipal vehicles, equipment, roads, sidewalks and bridges, public works, facilities, parks trails, and playgrounds.
Salary Range (Hourly): $25.58 - $30.67

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Required Skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a heavy equipment operator.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, WHMIS certification and a current DZ license are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to assist in day-to-day operations and dealing with the public.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, exhibit initiative, and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Compliance and working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and other legislation, regulations, and policies.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, WHMIS certification and a current DZ license are required.
