Job Description
This position is leading a team of 2-4 landscaping and snow removal crew members. A Team Lead's primary role is to handle and assign all landscaping and mowing tasks with their labourers.
Team Lead positions must be at least 25 years, have a valid G license with clean drivers abstract, and a cell phone with data.

Job Description
This position is leading a team of 2-4 landscaping and snow removal crew members. A Team Lead's primary role is to handle and assign all landscaping and mowing tasks with their labourers.
Team Lead positions must be at least 25 years, have a valid G license with clean drivers abstract, and a cell phone with data.
Required Skills:
Physical Requirements
- Consistently perform physically demanding tasks including but not limited to;
- Repeatedly lifting and transporting equipment and items up to and approximately 75 lbs
- Walking, standing and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Utilizing assistive work devices (step ladders, step stools, work platforms, reach extensions etc.)
- Utilizing tools reflective of the job (basic hand tools, handheld power tools, and other construction tools)
- Loading and unloading equipment between shop, vehicles and jobsites
- Working within various positions and postures as required to complete tasks including but not limited to; bending, twisting, laying, crouching, reaching overhead, squating etc.
Skill Requirements
The ability to efficiently manage a job site consisting of 2-4 labourers. Time management skills and organizational skills are a must
- Able to drive a truck and various trailers
- Able to work with clients and management in a \"cool, calm and collected\" professional manner
- Able to train and coach new labourers to be an efficient and valuable member of your crew
- Able to utilize various mobile apps efficiently. Utilizing digital task lists, project tracking, uploading progress photos, communicating with other staff and management via company chats and other similar digital tasks.
- Able to maintain a line of open communication with the office throughout a workday while still maintaining a productive job site
- Able to operate a wide variety of lawn and garden implements and tools with efficiency, proficiency, comfort, and control
- Including but not limited to; walk-behind and ride-on lawn mowers, edgers, trimmers, leaf blowers, pruners, shears, dethatchers, aerators, fertilizer
spreaders
- Able to operate snow removal machinery and tools with efficiency, proficiency, comfort, and control
- Including but not limited to; walk-behind snow blowers and shovels
- The ability to professionally mow a lawn with various striping patterns and techniques
- Able to handle the following tasks and similar tasks as directed;
- Sod installation and seeding
- Garden and hedge trimming and maintenance
- Trimming and edging
- Yard cleanups including fall leaf cleanup
- Snow removal of driveways, walkways, decks, etc.
- Ability to operate a tractor/loader with various implements is an asset
Employee Requirements
- Provide all basic/non-specialty PPE related to our services - this will differ depending on division. Including but not limited to, safety glasses, ear plugs, face shield, hard hat, various gloves, steel toe boots, dust masks, indoor/outdoor shoes, etc.
- When working outside, required to provide the following hi-visibility outerwear; orange hi-vis tear away style vest, orange hi-vis winter jacket, hi-vis rain gear.
- Required to maintain presentable job appropriate workwear suitable for construction, landscaping, or cleaning. Workwear should be free of excessive wear and tear or damage, properly fitting and durable.
