Job Description:
The Support Category applies to most new members of the SK Group team. Support team members are typically new to the industry and support the job activities of Operators.
The Support job category is broken into 3 wage levels and each successive level is achieved through a combination of hours of work and the development of industry experience.

SUPPORT I: $15.81/hr. - 500 Hours (PROBATION)
SUPPORT II: $16.17/hr. - 500 Hours
SUPPORT III: $16.53/hr. - Maximum Wage for Position

Job Title: Production Support
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Reports To: Production Support team members report to the Operator of their assigned department


Job Overview:
Production Support team members will work with Operator team members to create exciting, custom decorated apparel. Production Support positions are responsible for the preparation and staging of product blanks, material movement, finishing and packaging of completed job as well as general shop cleanup. Working alongside Operators they will use their willingness to learn to gain experience and skills in the apparel decoration industry. Excellent manual dexterity and precise attention to detail will enable them to produce repeatable, high-quality products and contribute to the success of the team.

Key Activities:
- Use job specifications to count, stage and prepare material for production
- Assist Operators in the operation of apparel decoration equipment including:
- Setting up and breaking down machine configurations
- Producing client jobs
- Basic machine maintenance
- Preparing threads and inks for printing
- Cleaning tools and equipment
- Clean, fold, pack and box finished jobs
- Use management software to update job status, work with team, and verify job accuracy
- General shop cleanup
- Any other work activities required by supervisor

Required Skills:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
- Work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Creative personality
- Clear, concise communication style
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
- Excellent attention to details and procedures
- Strong manual dexterity
- Able to effectively and safely handle various cutting tools
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
- Ability to take in and apply constructive criticism to improve performance
- Ability to maintain focus in high-pressure work environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of team
