Job Description:
Position Opening: Procurement Coordinator
Reports To: Operations Manager
Wage: 23.00 - 25.00 hourly
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist/Implement short/long term production planning in the area of production purchasing
- Coordinate proprietary parts quoting/sales
- Coordinate together with the warehouse technician in the area of VMI maintenance, inventory control, and ERP maintenance
- Manage BOM data entry into ERP system as part of the technical staff with sales, engineering, and upper management
- Provide status updates concerning ETA of required parts, delays, or any other pertinent information concerning production scheduling and forecasting
- Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Contributes to team through demonstrating company culture and conduct in the areas of Teamwork, Accountability, Quality, and Communication

Education/Related Experience:
- High School and related experience
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in the parts/ordering/warehousing is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Strong computer skills are imperative
- Self-started who can work within a team environment
- Can work flexible hours when required
