Sault Ste. Marie Police Service career information session

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is teaming up with Employment Solutions to host an exclusive career information session for those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. The session will take place on Oct. 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Employment Solutions, located at 477 Queen Street East.

This free recruitment event is open to 16 participants, who must pre-register to secure their spot. Attendees must meet specific requirements, including being a permanent resident of Canada, 18 years or older, and able to pass a basic background check to qualify for a career as a Police Officer or Special Constable with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

Sergeant Derek Macfarlane, who leads the Uniform Recruitment team, will deliver a short presentation, and provide valuable insights into the recruitment process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about careers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

To further support potential applicants, Employment Solutions offers registered clients resume and application assistance, ensuring that participants are prepared to succeed.
