The Algoma District School Board invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Engineering Technician (Summer Student):
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Updating of school drawings/floor plans on AutoCAD (AutoCAD 2022)
- Updating of database of Facility condition Reports
- Scanning and filing of school drawings
- Reviewing and filing of project documents
- Managing of small projects as assigned, including travel within the City of SSM
- Updating of Capital Plan files
- Other duties as assigned
Rate of Pay: $17.20 / hour

Required Skills:
-Registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and intends to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year, in a relevant field of study: Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Technician/Technologist programs.
-Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee protection Act
-Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
-Valid G Class Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
