GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive:

-Load/ Secure Heavy Equipment to the float trailer.
-Operate multiple tractor trailer combinations in a safe and appropriate manner.
-Keep legal log book and all required records (i.e. Pre-trip inspections).
-Comply with all applicable legislation and bylaws
-Receive and relay information as required.
-Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
-Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program.
Other related duties as required.

Education and Experience. Driving experience: minimum 2 years.
-Driver's License (Class A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
-Must have a good driver abstract.
-Ensure and display a detailed and thorough understanding of the National Safety Code, including but not limited to permitting, hours of service, weights and measurements and load securement.
-Must be punctual and able to communicate effectively with fellow employees in a professional and personable manner.
-Must be able to work under pressure in some situations
-Must be willing to support and abide by the company's safety policies and initiatives.
