The Transportation driver takes community and Algoma Manor residents to nonemergency appointments and outings. As a valued member of the team, the Transportation Driver demonstrates a commitment to resident safety by providing quality care in accordance with the organization's vision and mission.

All activities will be performed within the established guidelines related to health and safety, infection control, quality management and the organization standards.

- Must have a valid/ insurable G Drivers License
- Ability to schedule various transportation appointments
- Experience in overall vehicle maintenance and ensures that vehicles are kept on service schedules to upkeep the highest safety standards.
- Managing day to day operations of vehicles and vehicle drivers
- Ability to maintain neat and accurate storage records
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to read, write English and follow written instructions
- Route planning to optimize destination arrival efficiently
- Prepare reports for senior management
- Ability to read, write English and follow written instructions.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills required and the ability to network with community members

EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent
