POST MAJORITY QUALITY ASSURANCE WORKER

JOB SUMMARY:
The Post Majority Quality Assurance Worker is responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the Post Majority Support Services program. This role involves monitoring and evaluating service delivery, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and identifying areas for improvement.
The Post Majority Quality Assurance Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of care and service for youth and young adults transitioning out of care.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Post Majority Support Services
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of client files, service delivery, and program operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance findings, including recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures
- Ensure that the program meets accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Analyze service delivery data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to address identified issues and enhance program quality
- Collaborate with the Post Majority Support Services team to implement quality improvement initiatives
- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and procedures
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to quality improvement and compliance
- Collect and analyze feedback from clients regarding their experiences with Post Majority Support Services
- Address client concerns and ensure that their feedback is used to improve service delivery
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on program development and improvement

Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Services, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, program evaluation, or a similar role.
- Experience working in a human services or child and family services environment is preferred
- Knowledge of and respect for Anishnawbek values, teachings, culture, and traditions is of critical importance
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to quality assurance in human services.

Requirements:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Hold or be willing to secure, CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Valid driver's license and vehicle for on-the-job use
- Able to travel on short notice
- Able to work flexible hours on short notice
- Sign and comply with an annual Oath of Confidentiality
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation
- Must provide a Criminal Records Check prior to commencing employment
- Incumbent is subject to six months' probation
- Hold or be willing to secure, CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Valid driver's license and vehicle for on-the-job use
- Able to travel on short notice
