Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Job Summary
Our Sault Ste Marie, ON branch is currently seeking a Journeyman or 4th year Welder to join our Services Team. We're looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.
Job duties
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

Required Skills:
- Must hold a current and valid driver's license.
- Must possess a 456A Welding Certificate of Qualification or a related trade experience.
- Must be able to work with minimal direction
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
- Willingness and ability to work in remote locations
- 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts with On call and Overtime opportunities
- Must possess a 456A Welding Certificate of Qualification or a related trade experience.
