The Algoma Chrysler, Elliot Lake location is seeking an outgoing and highly motivated Automotive Service Advisor to create lasting first impressions and guide customers through their vehicles' maintenance scheduling and repair process. The successful candidate should be a great listener and a master at executing all the service processes with due diligence and customer service in mind. The Service Advisor should build strong relationships with customers to achieve service targets and utilize the tools provided to ensure customers will return to the dealership. They will uphold Algoma Chrysler's standards and values so that the customer is fully satisfied through every interaction with the service department.

Hours
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers to the dealership and discussing their needs
- Answering customer inquiries, either in-person or over the phone
- Schedule Service Appointments using the dealership booking system
- Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
- Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle's problems or symptoms
- Ensuring timely completion of service appointments
- Advising and selling required services based on dealer and manufacturer recommendations
- Reviewing repair requirements and recommendations with customers

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior customer service skills to handle customer complaints and questions effectively
- Critical thinking, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to perform the job successfully
- The ability to interpret technical terms to customers is considered an asset
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Drivers License
- The ability to operate vehicles with a manual transmission is regarded as an asset
Experience
- 1+ years in customer service is preferred
- 1+ year working in the Automotive Industry is considered an asset
