Job Description:
Algoma Chrysler is seeking a dedicated, attentive, and proficient Lot Attendant to provide exceptional support and mechanical expertise working inside and out of dealership at our McKerrow Location. As a Lot Attendant at Algoma Chrysler, you will play a crucial role in customer experience by keeping customer vehicles clean, shuttling vehicle between locations and conducting diagnostic procedures to determine vehicle maintenance requirements to vehicle on the dealership lot.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a basic knowledge of mechanical tools, services, equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Permanent; Full-Time
Hours: Monday - Friday, Flexible hours depending on dealership needs
Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles on the lot are neat and tidy and running when needed
- Shuttle vehicles as well as parts between dealership locations when needed
- Wash and detail vehicles to maintain appearance within the dealership wash bay
- Snow Removal in Winter from vehicles
- Ensuring vehicles are not damaged within the lot
- Ensuring customer areas are clean and accessible
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keeping track of vehicle inventory on the lot

Required Skills:
- Basic Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and detailing techniques
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in automotive maintenance and repair
- The ability to interpret technical terms to customers is considered an asset
- Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Drivers License
- The ability to operate vehicles with a manual transmission is regarded as an asset
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in automotive maintenance and repair

Requirements:
Experience
- 1 + years of experience in Automotive Repair is considered an asset
- 1+ years working in the Automotive Industry is preferred but not required
- 1 + years of experience in Automotive Repair is considered an asset
- 1+ years working in the Automotive Industry is preferred but not required
