Job Description:
Carpenter (General Repair Technician)
Carpenters (GRT) rebuild and restore damaged personal property anywhere and anytime a disaster strikes. With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state GRTs use the skills of carpenters, drywallers, painters and magicians! Making clients believe magic has happened is all part of a day for a GRT.
Responsible for.
The multi-talented GRT is skilled in the following ways:
-Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
-Framing
-Drywalling, mudding, sanding and finishing
-Brush and roller painting (could include walls, ceilings, trim)
-Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing
-Insulation and vapour barrier installation
-Being awesome, in general!
-Installation
-Doors
-Trim, moldings, and baseboards
-Hardware installation
-Cabinetry
