We currently are looking for a full-time 1-year contract ABA Therapist working in either our Elliot Lake or Blind River office. THRIVE Child Development Centre/Centre de développement de l'enfant is an incorporated, non-profit Children's Treatment Centre made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, therapy assistants, early childhood educators, ABA Therapists and support staff. We provide inter-disciplinary pediatric rehabilitation, respite care, an on-site childcare program and resource support to community childcare centres in Sault Ste. Marie and throughout the District of Algoma. Our philosophy of service delivery upholds family involvement and enablement as an integral part of effective intervention. Required Skills:
These positions will work directly with children/youth ages 0-18 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As an integral member of a dynamic team, you will provide evidence-based interventions as outlined in a child/youth's Ontario Autism Program Behaviour Plan. Here is what we are looking for to join our team as an ABA Therapist:

- A Diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science, degree in Psychology or Behavioural Sciences Program, or a diploma in other social services accompanied by extensive experience with ASD and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in the teaching and implementation of behavioural analytic strategies.
- Possess strong communication, collaboration and independent skills.
- A valid Class G driver's license and personal transportation are required.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required.
- Willing to work flexible hours and to travel across the District of Algoma.
- The ability to communicate in both official languages in an asset.
