Job Description:
A well-established Professional Accounting firm seeks a Bookkeeping Manager/Cloud Accounting Specialist

The position will strive to grow the existing bookkeeping practice including the implementation of advancing technologies and integration with the digital world. The role will comprise a multitude of responsibilities within the bookkeeping division including monitoring existing client billings, quoting new client engagements, and modernizing the current bookkeeping clients as well as oversee the Cloud based software implementation involving the delivery of hosted services via the internet.

The ideal candidate will be a well-organized self-starter who possesses a strong work ethic in providing professional/ proficient excellence in the required tasks.

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package available.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor), Xero, QuickBooks, and SAGE or other cloud-based systems.
Accounting/Business Diploma/Degree with related work experience. Will consider a candidate working towards a Degree or Diploma.
Ability to meet with new clients and determine bookkeeping requirements.
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects with a proven track record of strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, but willing to ask questions or obtain assistance when needed.
Ability to set up and create a new company and create new accounting records in QBO, or other selected online software.
Working knowledge of CCH iFirm, TaxPrep, CaseWare Working Paper (preferred but not required - training will be provided).
Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be working with various clients for all day-to-day accounting related services and training, and able to maintain an ongoing relationship with the client.
Work with Software Implementation Specialist to review status of client conversions and identify those that will realize the greatest efficiencies.Manage day to day questions from Accounting Technicians relating to accounting matters, or software related matters.
