Job Title: ISETP/Naadmaadwiiuk Unit Manager
Job Location: Blind River
Pay Rate / Hour: To Be Negotiated
Job Duties:
- Management and administration of the ISET Agreement, First Nations & Inuit Childcare Agreement (FNICCI) and the ISET Sub Agreements.
- Supervision of the ISETP department and staff.
- Oversee the Naadmaadwiiuk (LDM) First Nation Employment and Training Personnel, programs and services.
- Monitor and manage responsibilities for the Delegation of Authority for Section 25 of the EI Act Part 1.
- Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Program Agreement Activities.

Job Duties:

- Supervision of the ISETP department and staff.
- Oversee the Naadmaadwiiuk (LDM) First Nation Employment and Training Personnel, programs and services.
- Monitor and manage responsibilities for the Delegation of Authority for Section 25 of the EI Act Part 1.
- Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Program Agreement Activities.
Required Skills:
- A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, management, and/or equivalent
- Proven track record in project management with a minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with ISET Program including those of the Sub Agreements - Naadmaadwiiuk, Sagamok Anishnawbek and Garden River First Nation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of community, technical and government audiences is essential.
- Experience working with First Nations and Indigenous Organizations and having familiarity with other services provided by First Nations. i.e. Economic development, Social Services etc,.
- Understanding of community-based labour market needs and priorities.
- Understanding financial statements, budgeting, and financial planning.
- The ability to analyze data, identify trends, make informed decisions and is adept at solving complex problems.
- Knowledgeable in negotiating contracts and partnerships.
- Computer skills with a variety of software knowledge
- Must be able to successfully pass clearance of ESDC/Service Canada Security Clearance
- Proven track record in project management with a minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience.
