Job Description:
12-monthfixed-term contract position (renewal pending funding)
35 hours per week, $28.98 - $31.29 hourly (based on experience)
Must be willing to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Shifts will be 11 am - 7 pm (subject to change)
JHS has been providing services in the community for 55 years. We are a multi-service agency that partners with other agencies to improve our community members' quality of life. The successful candidate will offer support to 10 women within a residential setting, including intake,
case management, and referrals. This position will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate client care. This role will also respect and protect the rights of clients.

Required Skills:
Qualified applicants must have graduated from an accredited college/university in social sciences with a minimum of three year's experience in the social services field; plus have:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coordinate a team of up to 8
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of hard-to-serve adults within the homeless sector
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and addictions
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate program needs; required to be on-call
- Demonstrated excellent communication, supervision, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with the use of computer software
- Valid First Aid/CPR, Naloxone Administration
- Bilingualism would be an asset
- Provide a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coordinate a team of up to 8
