Job Description:
We are looking for a seasonal Cook to complement our kitchen and dining area.
The Waterfalls Lodge complex has everything you need to enjoy an incredible Canadian fishing lodge experience.
As a cook, you will be responsible for guest satisfaction by providing exceptional hospitality, preparation of meals and various kitchen duties such as ensuring all necessary supplies are available for shift.
Duties included:
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
- Performs other duties as required to provide exceptional hospitality
- Prepares and properly garnishes all food orders following menu specifications
- Prepares sauces, soups, and hot entrees in accordance with the menu
- Presents food using proper plate presentation techniques
- Coordinates completion of menu items with server
- Sets up for meals by ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecasted covers, special functions and any reservations
- Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers, and storage areas
- Organizes workstations for each shift
- Checks and maintains coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity, and quality of food products
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
Wage will depend on experience.
Roughly 24 - 36 hours weekly

Required Skills:
- Experience an asset
- Must have Smart Serve and Safe Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to take the training
- High School Diploma or equivalent
