Job Description:
The Algoma District School Board invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of System Supervisor and Classroom Support Analyst.
Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Information Technology, the System Supervisor and Classroom Support Analyst is a subject matter expert in one or more applications and provides remote and onsite technical assistance related to entry-level hardware or software issues that students and staff are experiencing.
This permanent position works 35 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or as otherwise determined by the Board to meet operation needs.

Required Skills:
Qualifications
- Candidates will possess a post-secondary diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, with preference given to candidates who possess a university degree
- Two years' experience of IT technical support
- Experience with networking, programming, hardware and software
- Candidates should possess excellent problem solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in an IT environment within the Ontario education sector will be considered an asset.
