Job Description:
Summer work at a remote fishing lodge in Northern Ontario (near Thunder Bay)
This is a combination position with one part being general maintenance duties around the lodge example:
Building and repair work on cabins, deck and docks. Some experience in basic building is required in the form of using power tools such as chainsaws, circular saws, hammers and drills ( etc) The second part would be guiding lodge guests to fishing locations around the lake. Fishing
experience and boat handling are required.
Accommodations are provided with a deduction for room and board.
Wage breakdown:
Gross Earnings: $1084.20/week, $4336.80/month, $16,263.00 / 15 week season
Deductions:
CPP $61.80
EI $17.13
Room/Board $ 105.00
Total ded: $183.93/week
Net Earnings: $ 900.27/week, $3601.08/month, $13,505.05 / 15 week season
** TIPS approx. $2500.00 - $3000.00 per season....Total take Home pay (with tips) Approx. $ 16,000 for 15 weeks
OTHER** please note deductions do not include personal income tax amounts if required
2 WEEK VACATION between July 8th to July 21st
Benefits: Free use of lodge boats/motors/canoe/kayaks
