Indigenous Employment and Agency Showcase

Agency representatives will be on-site to offer information and answer questions on available resources and programming.

The opening day of the event will feature community agencies and education programs. 

It will begin with opening ceremonies and a land acknowledgement at 10 a.m. Presentations on the Urban Homeward Bound program, which will be delivered by the Indigenous Friendship Centre at 11 a.m. and noon.

Day two of the event (Aug. 23), which also begins at 10 a.m., will be headlined by employers and local artists. Anyone interested in pursuing employment will be able to speak with representatives on their hiring processes, skills requirements, and employment opportunities.
