Job Description:
The Real Estate Stop Inc./The Mortgage Centre is looking for a FT Permanent Mortgage Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
-Act as the main point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, explaining mortgage terms, and addressing concerns.
-Handle payment issues, arrears, and provide support during refinancing or adjustments.
Documentation & Compliance:
-Prepare and review mortgage documents, ensuring they align with legal and regulatory standards.
-Maintain accurate records and support audits.
Payment & Account Management:
-Process payments and track account statuses, ensuring timely resolution of late payments or defaults.
-Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth loan processing and timely updates.
Collaboration & Communication:
-Work with underwriters, legal teams, and external partners to streamline mortgage services.
-Provide clear and consistent updates to clients and colleagues.
