Job Description:
Job Title: Petroleum Service Technician
Job Location: Sault Ste. Marie
Pay Rate / Hour: $25-$32 per hour

Fuel Service Industry Technician
Service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories essential to site operation of retail fuel stations.
Service, install and maintain point of sale (POS) systems which may include Bulloch and GIR fuel management systems.
Exercise considerable independent judgment in solving unusual work problems (mechanical and electrical).
Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a time
Scheduling Involves being part of an on-call emergency response rotation (approx. every 5th week) to ensure business needs are met.
Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner and submit it to admin staff daily.

Project Management
Oversee all aspects of petroleum related service calls and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Help maintain strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our existing and new clients that will ensure repeat business and free flowing referrals and focuses on client relationships to grow and maintain core client base.
Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed

Construction Laborer
Move, carry, raise, lower, install, and position a variety of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform repair work.
Ability to shovel snow during winter season and cut grass in the summer season.

Required Skills:

Very mechanically inclined, with an affinity for solving mechanical problems
Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Driver's License
Enjoy both working alongside a team and operating independently
Ability to make judgments calls when working independently, with no direct supervision and reach out to senior staff for direction when not
sure.
Enjoy being on the road and visiting new sites (White River to Sudbury and area)
Desire to continually learn and follow directions when needed
Organized, timely, and professional
Moderate computer skills with professional reporting capability
Excellent Communication skills
Proven Customer Service Skills

Additional Skill (Assets):
Electrical expertise (in petroleum or otherwise) or an understanding of electrical concepts and basic programming, phone line communication, wireless pay point POS system communication and installation.
TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Certifications (PM1, PM2, PM3, or PMH)

Qualifications:
College or University or Technical/Trades Education (Science, Engineering, and/or Project management Field or Similar)
Proven experience in project management within the petroleum and construction industries.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and manage project teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge and willingness to learn TSSA regulations, and safety standards.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to stay on feet for up to a 13-hour day.
Must be fluent in English and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Requirements:
Hiring Process:
Provide a minimum of a Class G Driver's License (AR and AZ are an asset) and clean Driver's Abstract
Provide a criminal record check
Complete drug and alcohol screening with a negative result through the hiring process and throughout employment (Random)
Provide copies of current certifications (if you do not have any of the training required to be on site, we will provide it for you)
