Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week - Overtime Available
Location of Work: Sault Ste. Marie ( Ontario)
Wage: $20.00 per Hour

Responsibilities:
-Assisting the Store Manager in employee supervision and development.
-Directing, establishing and ensuring that all employees are following New York Fries policies, procedures and standards, always.
-Ensuring the regular training of existing and new employees.
-Assisting the Store Manager in the preparation of Frontliner Crew annual performance reviews.
-Adhering to and enforcing all policies and regulations contained within New York Fries Starter Pack.
-Supervise, coordinate, and schedule staff
-Adhering to and enforcing all New York Fries safety procedures and practices, that potentially impacts upon the individual employee, fellow employees and/or customers.
-Adhering to all new covid policies and practices, always.
-Adhering to and enforcing all Department of Health codes concerning product storage, preparation and service.
-Ability to conduct Store Opening and Closing duties.
-Assisting in Store level cash control, including banking, verifying cash register deposits, conducting spot audits on floats, safe and cash registers.
-Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and Assists Store Manager in placing product orders.
-Maintain records and inventory.
-Ability to complete all paperwork assigned by the Store Manager.
-Establishing open lines of communication with Store Manager, Corporate General Manager, Head Office, suppliers, landlord or mall officials, local merchants and customers.
-Seeking out promotional and marketing opportunities for the Store and assisting the Store Manager in local marketing campaigns.
-Assist Store Manager in staff selection and policy development.
-Ability to demonstrate a sense of customer awareness.
-Able to Anchor the customer lines.
-Able to sample the fries and associated products to potential customers.
-Able to suggestively sell and the upselling of New York Fries products to customers.
-Continuously promoting New York Fries and its products.
-Handling customer service transactions.
-Serving the product to the customer.
-Full product knowledge of all New York Fries products that are served.
-Answering any customer inquiry/complaint in a polite and professional manner.
-Ability to operate the cash registers. Follow all New York Fries cash handling and cash register procedures.
-Ensure safe food handling and carefully monitor food preparation to uphold the brand's reputation before serving customers.
-Cleaning, cutting, cooking, portioning and serving of fries to New York Fries procedures and standards.
-Preparation of all toppings, dips and other condiments for service with the fries.
-Following New York Fries Operational procedures to ensure all product standards are met. Proper storage and handling of all food products.
-Ensuring fryers are at proper temperature and the oil color and fry flavor is at proper New York Fries quality standards.
-Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the Store and all equipment.
-Cleaning of all equipment, filtering and boiling out of fryers, cleaning of fry baskets, pots and pans and keeping condiment stations clean and stocked. Washing of all surface areas, sweeping and mopping the floor area.
-Having product deliveries put away in a safe and timely fashion.
-Ensuring sufficient stock levels of necessary products are in place for the present shift and upcoming shift.
-Prepare food order summaries
-All other duties, as assigned by the Store Manager, Corporate General Manager or other Head Office Staff.

Required Skills:
-Completion of secondary school
-Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, postgraduate level is an asset.
-Minimum 2 years of management experience in the foodservice industry are required.
