Job Description:
3rd & 4th Class Stationary Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Operate control systems, stationary engines, boilers and auxiliary equipment to generate power in order to provide steam to our dry kilns, as well as providing steam to sawmill for heating
- Startup & shut down power plant equipment, control switch operations, regulate water levels and communicate with systems operators to ensure optimum operation
- Annalise and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective action and minor repairs to prevent equipment or system failure
- Clean and lubricate generators, pumps and compressors, as well as performing other routine equipment maintenance duties
- Maintain a daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities & write reports on plant operation and non-compliance
Work Schedule:
- Day & Night Shifts, weekends included
- 12 hour shifts, 42 hour work week; 84 hrs per pay period

- Must be TSSA Certified and hold a valid 3rd or 4th class operating engineer certificate
