ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join our team, based out of Thessalon. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Responsible for daily scheduling and auditing vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repairs to trucks, trailers and equipment while still engaging in equipment repairs
- Coach and mentor other employees
- Oversee the preventative maintenance program
- Analyze maintenance costs and provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement
- Responsible for inventory
- Assists from time to time with troubleshooting requirements after hours as needed
- Examine inspections, prepare reports, work orders and checklists for accuracy
- Promote and lead a health & safety culture within the team, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed

Required Skills:
ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid 310T Licenses
- A valid 310S Licenses considered an asset
- A valid DZ Licenses considered an asset
- Previous supervisory experience considered an asset
- Able to troubleshoot & prioritize maintenance requirements
- Strong organizational, computer and interpersonal skills
- Dedicated to safety culture
- Experience working on petroleum equipment considered an asset
- A valid 310T Licenses
- A valid 310S Licenses considered an asset
- A valid DZ Licenses considered an asset
- Previous supervisory experience considered an asset
- Able to troubleshoot & prioritize maintenance requirements
- Strong organizational, computer and interpersonal skills
- Dedicated to safety culture
- Experience working on petroleum equipment considered an asset
