Maintenance 'A' - Certified Trades Person (Preference Electrician/Plumber/Gas Technician)
Permanent Full Time
The North Shore Health Network is a friendly, community-focused rural healthcare organization providing multi-sectorial care to communities along the north shore of Lake Huron - including services in Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing. The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services.
NSHN is looking for an experienced Maintenance A Electrician to become part of our team. Some of the responsibilities in this role focus on preventative maintenance in our buildings, including circuitry, replacing breakers and updating faulty wiring.
Location:
Home Base Blind River, with work days at the Thessalon and Richards Landing Sites
On Call Component
Rate:
$27.132-$28.815
Benefit Plan Available after probationary period
Pension Plan Available
2 weeks (to start) paid vacation upon completion of one full year of employment

Requirements:
Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of maintenance of equipment as well as scheduling and techniques
- Computer skills, building automation systems, MS Office
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and specifications
- Ability to use/operate power equipment and tools
- Knowledge/skills of other trades scope of work
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent sanitation knowledge
- Good verbal skills
- Knowledge of maintenance of equipment as well as scheduling and techniques

Required Skills:
- Certified Trades Certificate (valid in the province of Ontario)
- Previous building maintenance experience
- Previous health care setting experience
- Clear criminal record
- MUST POSSESS AT LEAST THREE COVID VACCINATIONS AND PROVIDE PROOF
